The story in short
LeBlanc is an illusionist centuries old and the matron of the Black Rose. She was once part of Mordekaiser's innermost circle, but she betrayed him and helped the broken barbarian tribes rise against him.
The Black Rose helped Darkwill take the throne, and LeBlanc promised him the secrets of a long life while slowly poisoning his mind. She once even manipulated a young noble named Swain into exposing the order, and was supposedly executed along with its most prominent members. At least, that's how it looked. Years later the same Swain toppled Darkwill and proved to be a ruler LeBlanc couldn't corrupt so easily. And some wonder whether she's even one person, or just one of countless reflections: the rumors speak of a new matron in every generation.
