The story in short
Lee Sin came to the Shojin monastery as a boy, claiming the dragon had chosen him. During a lesson he showed off with a strike charged with the dragon's power and paralyzed his own teacher, and he was sent away for his arrogance.
He set out to make amends, and with his friend Udyr he defended the Hirana monastery against Noxus. There he called on the dragon's fire to stop the invaders, and the flames took his sight. Now he helps the monks rebuild the monastery while learning to master both himself and the dragon within.
