The story in short
Talon grew up without a family in the underbelly of Noxus, surviving by theft and by his blade. The assassins' guilds sent people to recruit him by force, and he killed them and threw their bodies into the city's moat.
One day General Du Couteau disarmed him in a duel and gave him a choice: die by his hand, or live as an agent of the Noxian High Command. Talon chose to live and became the general's shadow, running secret missions from the Freljord all the way to the heart of Demacia. When Du Couteau vanished without a trace, Talon was briefly tempted to take his freedom back. Instead, he set out to find the general and whoever was behind his disappearance.
