Who they are
Sivir grew up in the deserts of Shurima after raiders of the Kthaons tribe killed her family. With other orphans she stole food and dug through ancient ruins for things to sell. When her friend Mhyra robbed her, she swore no one would ever betray her again and joined Iha Ziharo's mercenaries. Sivir's tactics won the gold, but Ziharo took the glory, so Sivir turned the mercenaries against her and left her in the desert, though she refused to kill her.
Her band took any job that paid. For a patriarch of Nashramae, Sivir pulled the cross-shaped blade Chalicar from an ancient hero's sarcophagus, and with a single throw she killed the captain of the guard and the three men behind him. Word of her reached Cassiopeia, the younger daughter of the Noxian general Du Couteau, who hired her to plunder Shurima's lost capital. At an enormous tomb door painted with warrior gods, Sivir stopped to study the reliefs, and Cassiopeia stabbed her in the back.
Sivir survived because the blood of an ancient royal line runs in her veins. Her blood brought back Azir, Shurima's last ruler, and he healed her in the waters of the Oasis of the Dawn. The city rose from the sand beneath the golden Sun Disc, and Sivir ran with Chalicar. In Vekaura, Xerath caught up with her, determined to end Azir's line, and she escaped with the help of Nasus and young Taliyah. Now she has to decide whether to accept the fate she's been handed or carve out a path of her own.
